Julia Brueckler vs Aimee Massie

Mini Ramp Champ S2:6

You know how is never snows in Texas? Yeah… don’t tell that to Austrian skateboarder, Julia Brueckler, who has just spent 6+ hours shoveling snow off of her mini-ramp in Texas to compete in today’s Exposure x Braille Mini Ramp Champ! We promise to try very hard to keep this event about skateboarding, and not ice skating. But. There are apparently no guarantees in Texas at the moment. We’re just thankful that she has power and wifi… and a shovel.

Julia will bring her FIVE X Games experiences (and her frozen A-Game) to compete against Australian ace Aimee Massie, who will be coming to us live from a comparatively balmy and warm Tasmania. Aimee kills it everywhere she skates, and turned in a MASSIVE drop off a roof in her Exposure 2020 video part. You’ll want to look that up if you missed it.

One of us has dubbed today’s competition the “Snow Angel vs Tasmanian devil” contest, but I won’t say which one of us said it.

Skatelite is still holding up the $500 prize purse– someone’s gonna grab it, soon!

Don’t forget that YOU can help US empower more and more female skaters with donations to our programs. You can donate directly through the Live Stream!
